SAE Concurrent Degrees

SAE Graduate Concurrent Master’s Degrees (Currently Matriculated UO Students Only)

Currently matriculated UO students who are interested in pursuing a concurrent degree program are encouraged to apply for their second major during the winter term of their first year so that they can get familiar with the academic climate and requirements of the master’s curriculum in both majors.

Instructions for SAE Graduate Concurrent Master’s Degree Enrollment:

  2. As soon as possible after being admitted to both programs – but at least three terms prior to the term in which the student would complete either or both degrees – meet with the Director of Graduate Studies in both departments.

The Declaration of Concurrent Degrees form must be completed, printed, signed, and submitted to the Division of Graduate Studies as soon as the student has been admitted to both programs, and no later than three terms prior to the term in which the student would complete either or both degrees.
  4. No later than Friday of Week 2 in the term of graduation (for either or both degrees), the student must apply for graduation and a completed concurrent degree program plan must be submitted to the Division of Graduate Studies.
